- RetractableRoofsandRants is inspired by the Twin Cities sports scene, long influenced by the small market mentality, brain washing antics, and [can't do] philosophy of the bass-awkwards front offices of all our major sports teams. Retractable Reflects the propensity of our front office personal to snow-wash the local media and fans leaving them to believe they should feel sorry for our teams. Roofs Like a dog barking at the mailman, our voices should be heard. Rants From time to time, I am going to beat a dead horse... We need to take the objectivity out of our local sports coverage and inject the type of subjectivity that is going to facilitate change in this town. I am a true Minnesota sports fan, but I am tired of our local sports ownership groups, media, and band-wagon mentality of our fans. Read, listen, however you take it in, and form your own thoughts and opinions, and let us open up the kind of discussion that leads to that seemingly proverbial change.
